Job Express ™

Simply download and install the Job Express print driver, which is programmed for ACP's equipment. With Job Express, you start a print job by clicking File > Print in your application. ACP will prepare a PDF proof that you download and view. Once you have approved the PDF proof, you submit the file to the ACP Print Portal. A job specification form will be presented to you for completion and pricing approval. You approve the print job and proceed to Checkout where you enter your shipping and billing information. It's simple and quick!

FILE PREPARATION SUGGESTIONS
  1. Document exported to PDF Format: we recommend PDF files because they reduce the chance of errors.

    When you have completed the design of your document, including linking of all high-resolution graphics and images, click File > Export, and select "Press Quality" in the dialog, as shown in the screen shot below (from InDesign CS3 Mac). Use the Default settings, click "Export" then name and save the new PDF file in a location where you can find it, for uploading to ACP (or for copying to a portable disk).

    Export Adobe PDF — Adobe PDF Preset: Press Quality. Use these settings to create Adobe PDF documents best suited for high-quality prepress printing. Created PDF documents can be opened with Acrobat and Adobe Reader 5.0 and later.

  2. Document created in applications: Adobe InDesign, Quark XPress, Publisher, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop — Mac or PC platform. Note: we will need all fonts, vector graphics, and high-resolution bitmap images, in addition to the document file.
FILE CHECKLIST
  1. Page size is correct (page size is the final size after trimming)
  2. Bleed is extended beyond the page size area by 1/8" or 9 pts. on each side
  3. All font files are included (PDF Export automatically does this)
  4. Colors are listed correctly for separations
  5. All images are TIFF CMYK format and high resolution at least 300 DPI (automatically included in PDF files)
  6. Recommended: Photoshop or original working/layered files are included for possible post editing
FILE DELIVERY TO ACP
  1. Upload via the Internet: upload using FTP (click on Client Login > FTP File Transfer)
  2. Mail or FedEx a disk such as a CD, Flash Drive, or Zip disk to:
